I’m Lydia, founder of Yin Waters and General Manager of Yes Chinaherb. Since 2012, I’ve worked with my family to grow the leading wholesaler of premium herbal extracts, partnering with renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine industry leaders across Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan. My background has nurtured my connection with my East Asian roots, deepened my compassion for holistic living, and firmed my belief that life is Qi.
I started Yin Waters to share my findings after years of searching for truth, healing, and a higher purpose.

Through my own struggles, I've learned to value adversity in ways others might perceive as unfortunate or unfavourable. I’m comfortably uncomfortable with being a work in progress and have grown to appreciate both yin and yang as nurturing expressions of the same natural whole.
In my search for answers, I consulted psychologists, psychics, shamans, astrologers, and other healers. While some of these encounters were overwhelming, I was lucky enough to cross paths with a few authentic practitioners who have since become my dearest friends and mentors. They’ve inspired me to pursue this extraordinary path to restore harmony within the mind, body, and spirit. My mission is for us to thrive in this life.
My lifelong love of learning is enriched by a blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Daoism, Buddhism, and the teachings of Sadhguru. Each of these add a holistic quality to my awareness. On a personal level, compassionate love, experiencing motherhood, and contributing to a higher cause have been lifechanging.

Discovering Chinese Astrology (Bāzì) brought everything together, reaffirming that the answers we seek are within us, when our inner and outer experiences are connected, balanced, and aligned. I use Bāzì as an empowering tool focusing on holistic wellbeing to make proper sense and practical use of our inherent energies.
I'm truly grateful to be able to share Bāzì with people from across the world in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, France, the US, Canada, Costa Rica, Australia, and beyond. It’s a conscious reminder of how interconnected we are, and how astrology continues to transcend culture and time.
